This building is one of the very few remaining pre-war tenement buildings in Hong Kong. Built in 1879 after the great fire in Central, the ground floor originally housed a jewellery shop. The shop was replaced by a dried seafood shop in 1930 until the whole building was closed down in 2007.
此唐樓建於1879年,乃1878年中環大火後重建樓宇。原為珠寶行,後於1930年改為永和號海味店。2007年政府收回,前途未卜。
